ShopKollage

I very rarely blog for outfits, but why the heck not right?! So starting today I'll try to blog with more variety. :) Recently I was contacted by the lovely Elsa from Kollage to collaborate and do a review of their items and they generously allowed me to pick four items from their shop. I picked up a crop top with a cute little cat in the front, a tank with "Cali" in the front, and two pairs of medicinal leaf socks (XD). Their clothes run a bit large though so the crop top fits like a normal tank on me and the regular tank fits like a dress. I was still able to work them into cute outfits though but if you are a petite girl like I am then keep that in mind.
The weather has been super hot lately in Southern California and I think these pieces are perfect for the sudden change in temperature. The quality of these pieces are superb and they do NOT shrink after drying in the drier (which is a plus if you don't like your clothes shrinking). Anyways, without further adieu, let's see how I paired these four pieces, shall we?

When I was younger I was rather enthusiastic with looks like these (don't get me wrong, I still love dressing this way once in awhile), but as I get older I find myself deviating and leaning more towards a more "businessy" type of look (not that I prefer that, "people" just take me more seriously). Doesn't it suck that when you get to a certain age if you dress a certain way some people just won't take you seriously (aka potential employers)? I think society values are so skewed that we are all just hopeless souls. :/ Oh and Lazybum still hasn't found a job yet! I'm working hard to present a capable me to the world yet no one wants to take me seriously LOL. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed my little OOTD and check out Kollage for more cute apparel!
